Prophesy and omens abound before the birth of Voran Earthmane. Legend tells his mother died in the birthing process and the midwives struggled to breathe life into the the still born Goliath child. The afternoon was cooler than normal and the air tasted bitter like fresh mint. The Goliath child, never the less lived, born the son of a well known family line of Shamans on the eclipse of both moons. His primal prowess never developed as expected but showed amazing arcane feats. Voran Earthmane was apprenticed at age 10 to a respected Human wizard who instructed Voran into adulthood. Voran became the most sought after arcanist practitioner of his generation. He was learned in a wizards studious exactness but had the natural talents of arcane power as a sorcerer.
Voran created many useful magic items, some still in use, some lost to time. Voran also spawned great learning centers and libraries to bring useful magics to those inclined to learn.
When the the meteorite of the chaos scar tore through Voran Earthmane’s private tower which was in its wake. He was never seen again.
