Aluvian Settlements: Arwic- Arcane students travel here to study within the arcane ley-lines said to pass through. Population roughly 3,300. Many Shadar-Kai have made homes here. The veil to Shadowfell is very thin in places here. Cragstone – Aluvian Capital population 6,000. Dryreach – a failed outpost on the east beaches, The fortress is now controlled by Shifters and Werewolves that call themselves Tummeroks. Eastham – Largest concentration of Halflings in Dereth. Also a harbor town that trades between the people of the Sho-to using Tou-Tou as its port of call. Population 4,900. Glenden Wood- It is said there are world falls between the Feywild and Dereth around Glenden Wood. Although it was originally an Aluvian settlement the Elves and Eldarin make more than half of the total population 3,600. Holtburg- Many Goliaths, Dwarves and Gnomes enjoy residence in Holtburg. Probably due to the proximity to the Northern hills and mountain ranges. Popualtion 4,900. Lytelthrope- Failed settlement of Dragonborn, then failed Human settlement, rumored to be overthrown by specters, ghosts, ghouls and all sorts of and undead. Rithwic- Fishing town that crosses the river. Many a Halfling, Human, Elf, and Dragonborn call this town home. Population 3,700.

Ghurun’dim Settlements: Al Arqas – Surrounded by desert wastelands for miles in every direction this oasis in the sand dunes has all the necessities for life. You want field arcane experiences go to Arwic, you want arcane scholastic studies go to Al-Arqas. Three competing magus academies each with exceptional headmasters and all within a stone throw from each other. Population 5100. Al Jalima- Small trading outpost, population 225. Khayyaban- Hillside palisade with redoubt, population 240. Samsur- Some call this place Genasi-ton, So called for its clustered population of Genasi who live there. Several Tiefling family clans dwell here as well. Population 2575. Tufu- is as much a Ghurun’dium town as a Gnome town. Many unusual mechanization’s twirl about here. Be sure to not cross the law as all the lawmen here are Warforged. Quite possibly the biggest concentration of Warforged dweel here. Population 3190. Qalaba’r- Is a nice sized outpost. Began a simple trading post between Gharu’ndim and Lugians (Goliaths of the Linvak Mountains). Has flourished into quaint town, but still see wilderness threats weekly. Population 3870. Yaraq- Small trading outpost. Population 100. Zaikhail- A town built on the ruins of a Virindi settlement that the humans took over during the Great Cleansing. Renown for its translators and scribes. Due to the dry climate and adobe style architecture. Some claim there isn’t a finer library in all of Dereth. Population 1310.

Sho-to Settlements: Baishi- Constant battles with hostile Lugians, and Tummerok raids keep this town’s growth stunted. A fairly decent population of Genasi, Humans, and Half-Orcs have been eking out a living here for years. Population 1100. Hebian To- Several warlords from the Great Cleansing developed several fine martial arts training programs. Some of the finest warriors to walk Dereth learned from these academies. Population 2895. Lin- Craft-works of all kinds flow from this mecca of artisans. Populations of Eladrin, Elf, Dwarf, and Humans roam here in their walled city. Population 4100. Mayoi- Power over the body is trained in Hebian-To. Training of the mind belongs to Mayoi, Psionic academy is one its’ featured locales. Humans and coupled with a few Shardminds call this place home. Anyone who thinks they have the “mind-gift” come here to apply for proper development. Population 2360. Nestled in a Linvak Mountain Vale. This seemingly unremarkable outpost is under constant threat from the wilds that it so abruptly stand on. Many dwarfs come here to trade or barter from their spelunking. Population 340. Sawato- Constant battles with giant frogs, and lizard folk raids keep this town growth stunted. A large tribe of Dragonborn have settled in the Sho-to town, with vows to tame the savage swamps and bogs. Population 845. Shoushi- Captial city of the Sho-to. Jade and opal can found all around here. The bazaar here is large enough that one may be able to find just about anything legal or not. Population 8320. Tou To- A light house outpost that is not much more than a harbor town. Sho-to junk captains and halfling privateers and porters move trade between the folk of Eastham and here. Population 1920. Yanshi- The magnificent tea gardens of Yanshi are the first sight one thinks of when thought of Yanshi abound. Eladrin and Elves and Tieflings make a large demographic here. Population 3735.
